Classes will be February 3-6, 2025 from 8:30-4:30 each day.
Carving tools needed: knives, gouges, and a safety glove.
Aransas Pass Civic Center, 700 W Wheeler Ave. Aransas Pass TX. 78336
Cost: $70/ day, Max 12 students/ day
Your choice to work in wood or clay.
Clay is $20/Pound and clay tools are provided.
Wood material cost varies according to roughout or price of bark selected

Our Instructor: Rich Wetherbee
Rich has spent most of his life in Colorado carving and sculpting. Having had no formal or informal training, he has designed thousands of pieces both commercially and one-of-a-kind sculptures out of many mediums including wood, clay, stone, pumpkins, squash, taters etc. Rich is now splitting his time between designing originals and teaching his techniques to up and coming sculptors and carvers. His passion for concept, design, movement, and detail, an inspiration to all he meets.
Additional Information
Rich Wetherbee will return again this year as long as he gets enough students to afford to be in Aransas Pass this year. It is up to you to make this happen.
